This will be the 7th Notts County Festival, we returned last year after a 6 year break (thanks covid)
Event is organised in full by Kev Cooper (YEL) 30+ years experience of tournaments and
arranges weekly fixtures for 1500 teams in the YEL

SQUAD SIZE - 2025/26 season age groups

U7s & U8s - 5 a side - no maximum but recommend 7 or 8 ....4 x 12 minute matches MIDWEEK DATE TBC

U9s & U10s - 7 a side - no maximum but recommend 9 or 10 ...4 x 12 minute matches

could change depending on interest per age group, arrival would be 30 minutes before.

Teams attend for approx 2 and half hours​​​​​​​.

GENERAL FORMAT
U7s & u8s MIDWEEK DATE TO BE CONFIRMED PLEASE DO NOT PAY AT THIS STAGE - WE CANNOT RESERVE PLACES

4 or 8 Team Competition with 3 Group Games (12mins) and then an extra 4th Game (Final) - Trophy to the winners, Quality medals for all

U9s & U10s
5 Team competition with 4 League matches and an Extra Trophy to the League winner (if level on points 2 winners)

We will try and match teams by known standards based on the number of teams per age group
​​​
Approx 48 minutes of football per team, as well as the excitement of the players entrance,
changing rooms and Tunnel etc
​​​​
All Players & Management enter via the Players Entrance
​​​​
10 minutes per team in the Changing rooms (Home or Away)
​​​
Walk out of the tunnel to the match day music
​​
3 of the teams Management are allowed to accompany the players
​​
Each team to play 4 x 12 minutes on the Notts County pitch (approx play one miss one basis)

Souvenir Notts County embossed medal for every player these are HIGH QUALITY 60mm by 3mm

Discrete video recording of matches with mobile phone will be acceptable but must not be obvious or in the way of proceedings especially round the tunnel (must also have permission of opposition) THIS IS ONE PERSON PER TEAM

ALL Spectators admitted to the Stadium FREE and seated in the Main Stand behind the Dug outs

We will be looking at giving all teams a couple of guaranteed free parking spaces next to the Ground, others street parking in the area.
Teams will attend for approx 2 and half hours from entering the stadium to playing matches and receiving memento.

Our event works out at around £23 (5v5) and £27 per player with NO spectator costs
Compare the price to similar events being staged at other grounds by different companies ? 3 events at Leicester City priced around £600 per team plus spectator costs. Others at Leeds, Norwich and Southampton priced at over £600 with other companies

we are paying to hire the stadium and other associated costs, trying our best to make it affordable to as many families as possible, whilst also making a profit

Our event is offered at the best possible price taking into account stadium and admin costs involved

HOW TO ENTER (under 9s & Under 10s)
​​
A Team Fee payment of £25 to secure a place by 20 Febraury and then a Final payment would be payable in April, any team withdrawing after making payments would not receive a refund.

AN EMAIL IS NOT REQUIRED entry is via Team Fee payment, I will email teams from Monday to confirm entry received.

We have space for 40 teams per age group U9s & u10s and first priority for one week is going exclusively to YEL member teams & teams attending the Filey Cup 2025. We sold out last season at both age groups.
​
All entries accepted on a first come basis via the £25 payment above.

The event is currently ONLY open to YEL under 9s & Under 10s awaiting Team Fee payments up to Thursday 19 February, a decision on any remaining space would be made Friday 20th February.
​​
In the event we sell out at just u9 and u10 then entries will be on a first come deposit payment basis.
​​​
Receipt of Deposit payments and confirmations will be sent to YEL (filey) team contact from Monday onwards (not available this weekend)
