We have changed the rules, to make it affordable for everyone to attend a Bank Holiday Festival

UK Football Tours have organised Festivals since 2001 with teams attending our popular weekends from the North East, Yorkshire and Midlands and in 2026 teams can book OWN accommodation

Coastal Bank Holiday Festivals for Under 8s to Under 13s Boys & Girls age groups (u7s welcome with u8s)

THE PROCESS

The FILEY CUP played on 3 Bank Holiday weekends,  we are offering you the chance to attend a popular UK Holiday Resort on the popular Bank Holiday weekends and simply organise and pay for your OWN accommodation, then a separate fee for the football event. The fee is generally the same as last year and we have had to add VAT to the prices !!

 

Your Group is free to find any accommodation in the Filey/Scarborough/Bridlington area and once chosen, we recommend that each family books the accommodation individually. ​

The 2022 Filey Cup attracted 72 teams and in 2023 we had 89 teams, with 58 of those winning something during the weekend. For 2024 we sold out May Day by August with 120 teams and then added an extra Bank Holiday with a further 80 teams

In 2025 we had 110 teams Easter and 150 teams May Day and based on the feedback from teams, we have decided to offer all 3 Bank Holidays in 2026.

We have had a very successful 2026 with 433 teams involved and based on team feedback we expect a very strong response from existing teams.​​

We average around 75% of teams booking to return the following year

For 2027 we have 480 places available over the 3 Bank Holiday weekends and expect some of these to be sold out in June 2026

We ask for a £120 non refundable deposit from each team when booking and the remaining payment will be requested in November.

Our Tournament fee is of course higher than that of a local festival, due to the costs involved of advertising and organising.

All of our staff are PAID a reasonable amount for working a Bank Holiday Weekend and given accommodation., it is NOT a Club Tournament. We use 2 excellent local venues and they keep the proceeds of all off field activities such as Car parking and Catering. We had more than 40 paid staff working for UK Football Tours on the weekend to ensure a smooth running event and all matches on time.

We believe the price of this event is an excellent opportunity for teams to be able to go ON TOUR on a Bank Holiday weekend (see no need to rush back home Sunday night) with a company with 25 years experience and the freedom to decide were to stay

UK Football Tours also offer football Festivals at professional grounds in the East Midlands, with events recently at Derby County, Notts County and Burton Albion. We also have 20 years experience of providing Trophies and awards to Clubs and Leagues, with our own range imported from China and access to all the main UK trade suppliers.
