We pride ourselves in offering a football tournament that is great value for money with a personal and friendly approach. 

WE SORT THE FOOTBALL & YOU SORT THE ACCOMMODATION

We offer all Teams the opportunity to play 2 Half Days of Football,

DAY 1 - Full Tournament with Winners & Runners Up, Plate depending on numbers

DAY 2 - Another full Tournament with Winners & Runners Up, but also the aim of splitting into different standards from the start subject to numbers

In 2024 we had 120 teams at May Day and 85 of them finished as a Champion or Runner Up during the weekend, based on our unique format...MORE winners with UKFT

Under 7s & Under 8s play 5 a side                                    £225 per Team for 2 Tournaments

Under 9s & Under 10s play 7 a side                                  £225 per Team for 2 Tournaments

Under 11s & Under 12s play 9 a side                                £250 per Team for 2 Tournaments

Kev Cooper, the Tournament Director, has 30 years of experience in organising youth football across all levels, from creating a community club in his local village Club (Cotgrave FC which has 35 teams from u6s to Adults) to Secretary/Office Manager of a 1500 team youth league (YEL Nottingham) as a volunteer for 16 years and the last 13 years part time paid, responsible for arranging fixtures, festivals and working closely with local pro clubs. Kev has a loyal support team who have worked with him for several years. UKFT has by far the best management team in the tour business and this will be our 25th YEAR staging the Filey Cup !!

  • You are free to book your own accommodation in the Filey area, this can be Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington, even York ? 

  • You can book onto a Holiday Park (note many are not keen on large Groups and prefer individual family bookings. Could use Hotels, B&B, Camp sites, AirB&B, family in the area or even travel on the day, its YOUR CHOICE

  • 2 Half day football tournaments so plenty of spare time to enjoy the local area

  • Football is back to back days so can stay for one night or more if you wish

  • Quality local football venues, venue is likely to be Bridlington CYP for u7 to u10 and some u11 and u12s 

  • Heslerton FC will be used for some u11 and u12s matches 

  • All venues will be within 30 mins of Filey

  • Teams are graded on Saturday then split Sunday by standard, so everyone has chance to be WINNERS
